The development of Unley Medical Centre involves demolition of existing buildings to construct a new two-storey building containing retail tenancies at ground floor and office tenancies at first floor with associated car parking in the undercroft basement.
Milestone Project Management has been engaged by the Client as Superintendent for the construction stage of the project with Blubuilt Constructions Pty Ltd as the Contractor. Blubuilt took site possession in March 2023 and achieved Practical Completion on July 2024.
The project was constrained by overhead electrical cables that restricted crane lifts and latent groundwater conditions. These conditions challenged the team to develop innovative construction solutions allowing the project to be completed on time and within budget.

Milestone Project Management was engaged at concept design stage to act as the Project Manager and Superintendent for both stages of this project, being the new Distillery & Cellar Door, and the Bed N’ Breakfast short-stay accommodation next door.
Milestone Project Management worked in conjunction with the client, design consultants & builder throughout the design, planning approval, contractor tender & engagement and construction phase for each project (two separate builders).
Located adjacent to the Clare Showgrounds, the project included the full refurbishment of an old stone villa with new residential residence added to it, distillery shed and gin still equipment, front of house cellar door and kitchen, surrounded by new driveways and landscaping.
The key entry statement was retaining the existing feature cactus as shown in the right photo, informing the landscape design.
The project was completed in August 2024.
45 Pirie Street

Milestone Project Management was engaged at planning stage to act as the Project Manager and Superintendent for various refurbishment and upgrade projects at 45 Pirie Street.
Milestone Project Management worked in conjunction with the client, design consultants & builder throughout the design, head contractor engagement and construction phases for each of the various projects.
Located in the heart of the Pirie Street business district, the enhancements to the building include transformation of the lobby, a new end of trip facility, lift upgrades, base build stripping & upgrade works in preparation for new tenant fitouts.
The new end of trip facility offers private, fully fitted bathrooms, secure lockers, changing rooms and bike storage making it one of the premium facilities offered in the Adelaide CBD. Practical completion of this stage of the project was achieved 28th June ’24.
The transformed new Foyer offers new entrances, impressive space frame glazed roof, gym room, golf simulator room and a new café & bar facility. Practical Completion for the new Foyer was achieved in March 2025.
